An interesting documentary, in which Kirby Dick kicks the MPAA's hypocritical, institutional ass by interviewing a large number of independent filmakers whose films were either censored, cut, or obscured by the secretive rating board's puritan gurus. Apparently, female orgasms and "too much pelvic-thrusting" are what gets the board into a fit, whereas portrayals of extreme violence are largely looked over. This goes to show how backwards the MPAA rating system really is and how it has replaced the priests that used to ring their bells in the theatres in the 1940's.
